Mycena inclinata

Mycena inclinata grows to about 3 to 4 inches in a dense cluster on stumps or branches of deciduous trees. LifePharms has 20 collections of this species from 8 different states and over 350 related Mycena collections. The individual species of the Mycena genus have very specific nutritional requirements as evidenced by one species preference for dead fern stalks and another’s preference for decaying walnut or hickory nut hulls.
